I saw the Spider-Man musical — which is the talk of Broadway for all the wrong reasons – and trust me when I say you should do anything you can to see this Broadway spectacular!
Surrounded by technical issues, stuntman injuries and costly delays, the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark may have put a bad taste in many people’s mouths. However, after seeing a preview performance Dec. 29, I can tell you the show’s imagination, outside the box thinking and flying Spider-Man fun is a complete joy for anyone spending a night on Broadway!
Christopher Tierney — who fell 30 feet last week & broke his ribs — is still in the hospital, but eager to get back onstage. Is he nuts?
Surrounded by family, stunt double Christopher Tierney spent the holidays in a hospital after injuries suffered during a preview performance of the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. But the actor’s father assures fans that his son is not only up and walking, but that he also hopes to return to the troubled production as soon as he can!
The latest tragedy — a performer fell 30 feet — should be last straw for this problem-filled production!
The problems just keep coming for the ‘upcoming’ Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. After a string of troubled performances, poor buzz and increasing budget woes, a massive injury Dec. 20 should be the nail in the coffin for the show.
The New York Post reports stunt double Christopher Tierney was the latest victim of the stunt-filled spectacle, where a fall due to a faulty rope left the aerialist with broken ribs and internal bleeding.
It’s time to Gleek out! Mr. Schuester will be taking a break from McKinley High to go on his very own solo tour!
Matthew Morrison is embarking on a solo tour this spring to promote his upcoming solo album, but don’t worry about Mr. Schuester disappearing from Glee. The 32-year-old star has worked it all out!
Early reports say Spidey’s Broadway debut needs a lot of work before it’s ready for the public.
With a budget of more than $65 million, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is the most expensive show in Broadway history — and it also might be the most flawed. The Julie Taymor-directed musical had its first preview performance Nov. 28, and although the high-flying acrobatics left young theater-goers enthralled, The New York Times reports that the show was marred with mistakes and actually stopped five times throughout its run of more than three hours.
Turning 14 comes with a ton of perks when you’re Madonna’s daughter. Lourdes Leon mingled with the cast of In The Heights after catching a performance of the Broadway show on her birthday (Oct. 14).

Zac and Justin are after the same role, but who will land the coveted part of Huey Calhoun?

Did family-friendly CBS want a more toned-down Tony Awards with a ‘no affection’ rule?
Last night’s Tony Awards provided the possibility of seeing one of Hollywood’s most private and red carpet-shy couples, Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, making a seldom-seen public appearance. When Ryan did in fact show up to support his wife, a first-time nominee for A View from the Bridge, it provided the possibility that SHOULD Scarlett manage a win we could see an actual lip lock between the two. Not that we’re voyeurs or anything.

Could YOU see Matt starring in the smash Broadway hit? WE totally could!
Jordin Sparks, Clay Aiken and Fantasia Barrino are just a few of the former American Idol contestants who have gone on to star in HUGE Broadway shows, so naturally we had to ask season seven finalist Matt Giraud if the Great White Way was in his future, too! “Maybe if I could do Wicked,” Matt told HollywoodLife.com exclusively May 26 at the American Idol season nine finale in Hollywood. He even sang us a line from the show, which you casting directors should SERIOUSLY have a listen to. Check out our video interview with Matt for a taste of what he’d sound like on Broadway (here’s a hint: he’d be awesome!)

Well THAT didn’t take long! Less than 24 hours after we all found out about Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry‘s shocking split, Halle was spotted walking hand-in-hand with another guy! Watch the video above to refresh your memory. A set piece landed on his head!
As you all know, Bret Michaels was hospitalized Apr. 22 for a brain hemorrhage, and “remains in ICU in critical condition,” according to the latest update from his rep. Doctors have yet to diagnose the exact cause of the hemorrhage, but it is reportedly believed to be a complication related to Bret’s type 1 diabetes. But we wondered if it was possible that the hemorrhage could also have something to do with the intense injuries Bret suffered at the Tony Awards on June 7, 2009. In case you forgot, a huge set piece was lowered onto Bret’s head, which sent him to the hospital with a fractured nose. He needed three stitches in his lip, and was altogether “pretty bruised up,” his rep said at the time. I checked with top NYC neurologist Dr. Dexter Sun for the answer. Wouldn’t you love to see Paula star as ‘Camila’ in Broadway musical In The Heights? New reports say her next gig may be on stage!
Does Paula Abdul, 47, have a new gig on the horizon? New reports say the former American Idol judge is set to star alongside Corbin Bleu in the Broadway musical In the Heights, reports RadarOnline.com.
“It’s always been [Paula’s] dream to star on Broadway,” said the source. She is reportedly in talks to play the role of Camila, a Latina woman who runs a taxi dispatch service. The role even has a solo part!
But, as much as we would love to see the popstar go back to her singing and dancing roots, we’re a little concerned that the intensity of being on stage eight nights a week might be too much for Paula, who suffers with chronic pain, due to Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. Read more

Jennifer Aniston turned up the heat at the March 11 premiere of The Bounty Hunter in London, showing off her killer legs in a tight sparkly silver mini — but she’s not the only blonde we’ve seen in a dress like that recently. Jessica Simpson – who will be appearing alongside Jen on Good Morning America 15 – strutted her stuff in a similar outfit at the after party celebrating little sis Ashlee‘s November debut in Chicago on Broadway! Which blonde pulled the look off better, Jen or Jess?
