Shortly after 2025 began, Los Angeles residents were thrust into crisis as a massive fire erupted in Pacific Palisades, prompting a citywide state of emergency. The upscale coastal neighborhood—home to numerous celebrities—suffered devastating losses as flames tore through multimillion-dollar properties and hillside estates.

Among the stars with homes in the area are Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, and Ben Affleck, who had reportedly purchased his Palisades property in mid-2024, according to multiple outlets. Spencer Pratt revealed in a heartbreaking TikTok video that the home he shared with Heidi Montag was completely destroyed by the blaze. Several other celebrities also saw their residences damaged or lost as the fire spread rapidly through the canyon community.

In the aftermath, the entertainment world quickly rallied around those affected. A number of A-listers, including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Billie Eilish, and John Legend, have joined forces to headline the upcoming Fire Aid Benefit Concert, with proceeds going toward wildfire relief and rebuilding efforts across Southern California.
