Demi Lovato married her husband, Jute$ (real name Jordan Lutes) in May 2025, and the spouses have never been happier. Since the start of their relationship, Demi and Jute$ have shared sweet photos together via their respective social media profiles, and they’ve fallen even more in love with one another!

Looking back, Demi’s dating history included a few well-known faces, including her longtime pal and Camp Rock co-star, Joe Jonas. The two only dated for a few weeks. When she was 18, Demi started dating actor Wilmer Valderrama in 2010. They broke up in 2016.

Before falling for Jute$, Demi was briefly engaged to actor Max Ehrich, but their romance quickly fizzled out in 2020.

Demi and then-fiance Max looked happy in love on a Beverly Hills shopping trip on July 27, 2020. The couple had a whirlwind romance, falling in love in March and April 2020 while in lockdown together. They got engaged on the beach in Malibu, with Demi telling fans in an Instagram post, ‘knew I loved you the moment I met you,’ and that  ‘You make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage.’ The couple ended up calling off the engagement and their romance in Septemebr 2020 after a whirlwind six months.

The musical icon has made no secret of the fact that she feels her relationship with the actor was “toxic.”

“When you get into a relationship with somebody at that young of an age and then you spend six years with somebody, you don’t really get to learn about yourself,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2020. She called dating older men when she was younger “gross” in an interview in 2023.

The Camp Rock co-stars tried to make a go at love, but things just didn’t work out. 

“I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now,” Joe said in a statement after their split. “It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.” 

That certainly still appears to be true. In 2025, Demi and Joe reunited on stage during the Jonas Brothers’ tour to sing their hit Camp Rock songs.

Trace is notable because he was Demi’s first public romance, but there are reportedly no bad feelings following the split. Trace told People when they parted ways “We gave it a shot and that’s all you can do. Every time I hung out with that girl or talked on the phone with her, it was amazing. She’s someone I can totally relate to.”
