Willow Shields (born Willow Shields on June 1, 2000, in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American actress. Willow began her acting career at age seven when she followed her brother to an audition. She would be cast in an episode of the USA drama In Plain Sight. She followed it with a role in the Hallmark Hall of Fame original movie, Beyond The Blackboard. In 2012, Willow had her breakout role when she appeared in The Hunger Games as Primrose Everdeen, the younger sister of Jennifer Lawrence‘s character. Willow would reprise her role in the sequels. Willow is currently competing on season 20 of Dancing With The Stars with partner Mark Ballas.

At age 14, Willow will be the youngest contestant ever on Dancing With The Stars. The previous record was 16 years, held by Zendaya. Willow is a vocal advocate for Operational Smile, a charitable organization that provides free surgeries to repair facial deformities for children throughout the globe. She also serves food at various homeless shelters and has participated in the STOMP Out Bullying Campaign. In 2013, Willow joined the rebuilding efforts of Moore, Oklahoma when a tornado devastated the town. In addition to her charitable works, Willow’s passions include fashion and photography. She has a twin sister, actress Autumn Shields, and an older brother, River.
