Steve Bartman is a Chicago Cubs superfan who is blamed by many for the Cubs missing their shot at the World Series in 2003. During Game 6 of the National League Championship Series in 2003, Steve was sitting in Wrigley Field watching the Cubs play the Marlins, when the home team was just five outs from making it to the World Series. Steve reached out to catch a foul ball, which tipped it away from Cubs outfielder Moises Alou. Many believe this is the reason the team lost and didn’t make it to the World Series.
