Bio:
Raf Simons (born January 12, 1968 in Neerpelt, Belgium) is a Belgian fashion designer. He has led collections under his own name, as well as at Jil Sander (from 2005-2012) and Christian Dior. He joined Dior as the creative director in 2012, and resigned from the role in 2015 due to frustration with the lack of time to create collections.

Personal Life:
Simons studied Industrial Design and Furniture Design in college. He decided to go into fashion design after seeing a Martin Margiela fashion show at Paris Fashion Week in 1991. He is an art collector, and has curated multiple exhibits.
