Michelle Keegan

Michelle Keegan (born Michelle Elizabeth Benson Keegan on June 3, 1987 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England) is a British actress and model. While growing up in Stockport, Michelle attended St. Patrick’s RC High School before enrolling in the Manchester School of Acting. After her second audition ever in 2007, Michelle was offered the role of Tina McIntyre in the British soap opera Coronation Street. During 2009, she appeared on Anonymous, a prank show on ITV, and on the BBC Radio 1 program The Official Chart. In 2011, Michelle appeared on the cover of FHM for the first time. She left Coronation Street in 2014 after her character’s death. She then joined a European theatrical tour of Peter Pan, performing as the role of Tinkerbell. In 2015, Michelle returned to television on the BBC drama series, Ordinary Lies. Michelle was first voted number 30 and 26 in FHM’s Sexiest Women poll in 2010 and 2011. She placed at number four in the 2013 poll, before being named Sexiest Woman In The World by the magazine in 2015.

Michelle is a quarter-Spanish from her maternal grandmother. She has a younger brother, Andrew Michael. Michelle was engaged to Max George of the band The Wanted. The two broke-up in 2012. She began dating English entertainment personality Mark Wright in 2012. The couple announced their engagement on September 9, 2013.
