Mia Farrow

Mia Farrow (born Maria de Lourdes Villiers Farrow on February 9, 1945 in Los Angeles California) is an American actress, activist and former model. Mia’s the daughter of director John Farrow and actress Maureen O’Sullivan. At age two, Mia appeared in a short documentary and from there, she pursued a life in front of the camera. After a stint as a model, Mia joined the primetime drama, Peyton Place, in 1964. She left the show two years after. Her first leading film role was in 1968’s Rosemary’s Baby, which earned her critical success, including the Golden Globe for New Star of the Year. In the 1970s, Mia performed in several classical plays while in London and starred in the films See No Evil, The Great Gatsby, and The Haunting of Julia. During the 1980s and ‘90s, she collaborated with Woody Allen on his films, including Zelig, The Purple Rose of Cairo and Hanna and Her Sisters. Mia appeared in the 2006 remake of The Omen, and 2007’s The Ex. In 2014, Mia returned to Broadway in the play, Love Letters.

Personal Life:
Mia married Frank Sinatra in 1966 when she was 21 and he was 51. Frank served Mia their divorce papers during her filming of Rosemary’s Baby and they were divorced in 1968. She visited India in 1968 to study Transcendental Meditation alongside celebrities like the Beatles. She married Andre Previn in 1970. At the time, Mia was pregnant with twins Matthew and Sasha. They had another child, Fletcher, before they divorced in 1979. That year, Mia began her relationship with Woody Allen. In 1987, Mia gave birth to Satchel Farrow (known as Ronan Farrow.) In addition to her biological children, Mia has adopted nine others.
