Bio:
Lucero Alvarez (born 1996) was one of the victims tragically killed in the October 2015 shooting on Umpqua Community College in Oregon. Lucero was in her first year of college, attending UCC when her young life was ended during the bloody rampage conducted by the hate-filled shooter, Chris Harper-Mercer. Though Lucero hadn’t picked a major yet, she was reportedly considering becoming a nurse or a pediatrician.
Best Known For:
Lucero Alvarez is sadly known for being one of the nine victims killed during the 2015 UCC shooting in Oregon.
Personal Life:
Lucero had five siblings. Her sister, Eileen Alcaraz, said that Lucero was the “responsible one” among her sisters and that she was a great artist who loved to draw. Lucrero had completely paid off her college bills through scholarships and had made college honors, according to her oldest sister, Maria Leticia Alcaraz. Maria also said that Lucero would have made a great pediatric nurse.
