Lisa Lynn Masters (born in Omaha, NE) was an American model and actress. Lisa began her career as a television news broadcaster before moving to acting and modeling. She was on a number of television shows, such as Ugly Betty, Law & Order: SVU and Gossip Girl. Lisa was most recently on the Netflix show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Lisa died in November 2016 while traveling in Peru. Her cause of death was ruled as a suicide.

Personal Life:
Lisa Lynn Masters was raised in Asheville, NC. She died at the age of 52 from apparent suicide after she was found hanging in the closet of her hotel room in Peru. Two letters were found with her, describing her struggles with mental health. Lisa married healing arts practitioner, William Brooks in 2004. A GoFundMe Page raised over $35,000 for funeral costs for the family.
