Only one more episode left of Gossip Girl! (Sob!) The Dec. 10 episode opened with Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) once again plotting how to take down Bart Bass. Aren’t they supposed to have jobs, or go to college, or something? Any who, the indecisive lovebirds realized they won’t be able to bring down Manhattan’s answer to Mr. Burns without some help… so read on for our top four OMG moments of the night!
The holidays are always stressful, and no one understands that better than our favorite Upper East Siders, as Turkey Day came one week late on Gossip Girl due to that pesky hurricane Sandy. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively) decided to have a small, intimate gathering for Thanksgiving at chez Van der Woodsen, but all hell broke loose when S accidentally invited Steven (Barry Watson) and his evil daughter Sage! Cue the ruffling of feathers — and that is not a turkey pun.
The Nov. 26 episode of Gossip Girl kicked off with Bart rummaging through Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) apartment, looking for the evidence that could expose his illegal oil dealings — but none other than Ivy Dickens (Kaylee DeFer) appeared to let the Bass men know she has the secret documents, and there was only one way they were going to get them: trade in Lily (Kelly Rutherford), leaving her with no one!
The episode kicked off with Blair (Leighton Meester) working on her latest fashion collection of cotillion dresses. But while Queen B was focused on paving the way for fashion in high society, her frenemy, Serena (Blake Lively), was trying to win stepmom points by helping Sage prepare for her own introduction into Manhattan’s elite.
Gossip Girl started with lonely boy looking in from the outside to the unobtainable and unreachable world known as the Upper East Side. But as seasons passed, that lonely boy, Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), eventually ended up winning the heart of the girl who ruled it all, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). And as earth-shattering as that strange relationship was, it appears that Dan and Blair finally end up with who they were meant to be with all along: Serena (Blake Lively) and Chuck (Ed Westwick), respectively. I truly couldn’t be happier!
After years of drama, hooking up, breakups and of course, fashion, Gossip Girl is finally coming to an end — but luckily the gals will be getting their happily-ever-after endings! The cast was spotted filming the final episode on Oct. 15 and 16 in NYC. From the looks of it, Chuck and Blair and Serena and Dan are tying the knot.
The episode kicked off with Blair (Leighton Meester) preparing for “WWD” day, but it just ended up being plain ol’ “D” Day. A power shift occurred on the Oct. 15th episode and Blair found herself in a situation that not even her minions could help her get out of.
