Bio:
Kristen Taekman (born April 21, 1971 in Farmington, Connecticut) is a model and television personality. Kristen began her modeling career when she was 16 years old, after she was discovered by John Casablanca’s modeling agency. She moved to New York City when she was in high school, before relocating to Milan and Paris for modeling work. After living three years in Europe, Kristen worked in Australia, posing for magazines like Australian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour. Kristen was also the face for national campaigns for beauty brands like L’Oreal and Clairol. In addition to modeling, Kristen is an entrepreneur. She launched her own successful greeting card company, 2nd Street Press, in 2009. She also partnered with Ricky’s NYC to start her own line of nail polish called Pop of Color. Kristen joined the cast of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City during the show’s sixth season. Kristen’s husband, Josh Taekman, was one of the names revealed in the 2015 Ashley Madison Hack that revealed the personal information of those who signed up to the adult-cheating website.
