Bio:
Kevin O’Leary, born Terence Thomas O’Leary, is a Canadian born businessman who made a fortune when he founded Softkey Software Company, which he started in the basement of his home in 1986. The company primarily made educational software focusing on mathematics and reading. Softkey continued to grow and thrive throughout the 90’s. In 1999 he sold his company, now called The Learning Company, to toy manufacture Matel for 4.2 billion dollars. After selling his company Kevin found success investing in a number of other companies including Storage Now, a self storage company and Genstar capital, a private equity firm. In the 2000’s he began his television career including appearing on the Canadian reality investment show Dragon’s Den beginning in 2006. He then left that show in 2014 to join the American version of Shark Tank where he has been a judge for six seasons.
Best Known For:
Being a businessman  and television personality, most notably for his role as a judge on Shark Tank.
Personal Life:
Kevin has been married to Linda O’Leary since 1990. Together they have two children, Savannah and Trevor O’Leary. Kevin is a wine enthusiast and has his own wine label.
