Bio:
Josh Samman (born Joshua Kaleb Samman on March 14, 1988 in Des Moines, Iowa) was an American mixed martial artist. He competed in amateur MMA fights in 2006, and made his professional debut the following year. Samman released a memoir in April 2016 titled The Housekeeper: Love, Death, and Prizefighting. He was also the CEO of an MMA promotion company in Florida called Combat Night. Samman was a middleweight fighter in the UFC at the time of his death on October 5, 2016.

Personal Life:
Samman had a girlfriend named Hailey Bevis, who died in a car accident in August 2013 as the two were reportedly texting each other. Samman was found unresponsive from an alleged drug overdose in his Florida apartment on Sept. 29, 2016, and he remained in a coma until his death in a hospital on Oct. 5, 2016.
