Bio:
J’Leon Love (born September 25, 1987 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan) is an American boxer. J’Leon fell in love with boxing when he was young, witnessing an Army vs. Navy boxing competition on television. Though his mother didn’t support his passion, he eventually saved up to afford to train at the Kronk Gym in Detroit. As an amateur boxer, J’Leon scored over 100 victories and participated in the Olympic Trials and multiple Golden Gloves tournaments. He was the Detroit Golden Gloves Champion from 2006-2009, the Michigan State Champion from 2006-2008 and a National Ringside World Champion in 2007. J’Leon went professional in Jan 2010, knocking out Vince Burkhalter in the first 100 seconds of the match. He continued to find success in the professional boxing world, signing with Floyd Mayweather promotions and winning the WBA International Super Middleweight Championship in 2014. J’Leon’s career is not without controversy. He tested positive for a banned substance in 2013. He was suspended for 7 months and given a 10 thousand dollar fine.

When J’Leon’s brother, Gerald, passed away, he took fiscal responsibility for his brother’s 10 children. In addition to boxing, J’Leon’s hobbies include cooking, traveling and riding dirt bikes. His favorite type of food is Spanish and/or Caribbean dishes. In 2015, J’Leon was romantically linked with model Blac Chyna.
