Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley are officially the new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley in the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the sequel set to hit London’s Palace Theatre in summer 2016. Right away, Twitter started asking how J.K. Rowling, the author of the original series, felt about the casting, since Hermione will now be played by a black woman.
