Bio:
Jimmy Feigen (born James Feigen on September 26, 1989 in Hilo, Hawaii) is an American competitive swimmer. Jimmy specializes in freestyle events. He swam for University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2012. During his college career, Jimmy received seventeen All-American honors and NCAA national championships in many different heats in 2012. In the US Olympic Trials, Jimmy placed 28th in 50 m freestyle and 40th in 100 m freestyle. Jimmy qualified to swim for the USA relay team in the 2012 London Olympics, with which he earned a silver medal. He returned to the 2016 Olympics in Rio, where he won a gold medal for the 4×100 freestyle relay. Most recently, Jimmy has made headlines after he was forced to stay in Brazil following inconsistencies in reports of he and his fellow teammates being robbed and held at gun point.

Personal Life:
While Jimmy was born in Hawaii, he attended high school in San Antonio, TX. While swimming for his high school team, Jimmy held the high school national record in 100-yard freestyle and 50-yard freestyle. He was the National Boys’ High School Swimmer of the Year in 2008.
