Jason Pierre-Paul (born Jason Andrew Pierre-Paul on January 1, 1989 in Deerfield Beach, Florida) is an American NFL player. He played college football for the University of South Florida. The defensive end was picked by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He finished the 2014 season with 12.5 sacks. Over the Fourth of July weekend in 2015, Jason was involved in a fireworks accident. He fractured his right thumb and had to have his right index finger amputated as a result. He is expected to play in the upcoming 2015-2016 season.
