Jasmine Cephas Jones

Jasmine Cephas Jones (born in Brooklyn, New York on July 21 1989) is an American actress and singer. She originated the duel role of Margarita “Peggy” Schuyler / Maria Reynolds in the Off-Broadway production of Hamilton in 2015, later continuing in both parts when the hit musical transferred to Broadway.

Personal Life:
Jasmine is the daughter of actor Ron Cephas Jones (sometimes known as Ron C. Jones) and Reverend Kim Lesley, an acclaimed jazz singer. You might recognize Ron as Randall’s father William on the hit NBC series This Is Us. His other credits include: Luke Cage, Mr. Robot, The Get Down, and the Beatles jukebox musical Across the Universe. Jasmine is currently dating her former Hamilton costar Anthony Ramos.
