Bio:
Jamie Linden (born in Florida on September 3, 1980) is an American screenwriter. Jamie attended Florida State University, where he majored in marketing and media production. Jamie was fired from several assistant positions before he decided to write his own screenplay. His first script was titled Things to Do Before I Die, which chronicled the story of the 1970 Southern Airways Flight 9432 plane crash, which killed most of the Marshall University football team. In 2004, he pitched the idea to a major film company. And when it was approved, he and his crew began speaking to the families of the victims. The film then became We Are Marshall, and was released in 2006. Jamie’s writing credits also include Dear John, starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried, 10 Years, and Money Monster. Jamie is currently writing a biographical film about Olympic gold medalist, Bill Johnson, as well as an adaptation of The Dogs of Babel.
