Luckily we love a little celluloid foreplay because the producers of the sexy S&M book-to-movie Fifty Shades of Grey are already building the excitement for the 2014 release of the film. On Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, they posted a very enticing shot — of Dakota Johnson facing off against Jamie Dornan — on the film’s official Facebook page, along with the message “See you in a year. Happy Valentine’s Day! #FiftyShades.”
“Double crap!” That’s what Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) would probably say if she heard the report that Fifty Shades of Grey is only going to be one movie, instead of three like they originally planned. [Updated Information Below]
Watch out, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) — Anastasia’s boy-next-door shoulder to cry on, José (Victor Rasuk) has arrived. The former How to Make It in America star was snapped filming graduation scenes with Anastasia herself, Dakota Johnson, at the film’s Vancouver set on Dec. 18.
Jamie Dornan will be taking over one of the most daring roles of his career — Christian Grey! — but right now he was given his most daunting role yet: fatherhood! The actor and his wife Amelia Warner welcomed their first baby together “at the end of November,” Jamie’s rep confirmed to E! News on Dec. 17.
A man who has a Red Room of Pain would definitely take it all off, so I’m tipping my hat to Jamie Dornan who has made the brave decision. If you’re still having trouble warming up to Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as the leads in Fifty Shades of Grey, then allow us to present Exhibit A: on Dec. 8, the two sexy stars embraced for their first on-set kiss and the chemistry could not be denied.
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are officially ready to rumble! Filming began on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie Dec. 1, with author E.L. James sharing the first official shot on Instagram. Of course, in cryptic E.L. fashion, the photo doesn’t exactly reveal anything about the movie — but at least we know we’re that much closer to the Red Room of Pain.
