Growing up in a time that his region of Sweden was relatively poor, he began his entrepreneurship at only 10 years old by selling anything from Christmas decorations to pencils. He endured many ups and downs along the way, but his perseverance has resulted in more than 300 IKEA stores in 38 countries around the world. On Nov.2, 2015, Ingvar made headlines for paying income tax, as it was his first time doing so since 1973 despite being a billionaire.
