Haley Reinhart (born in Wheeling, Illinois on September 9, 1990) is an American singer, songwriter, and voice actress who rose to prominence after placing third in the tenth season of American Idol. She signed a record deal in July 2011 with Interscope Records and her debut album, Listen Up! was released on May 22, 2012. Haley was the first American Idol alum to perform at Lollapalooza and she gained widespread recognition in 2015 for performing and touring with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox as well as for her cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which was used in a commercial for Extra Gum and became a viral sensation. Haley made her voice acting debut in the Netflix animated comedy F Is for Family as the character Bill Murphy in 2015. In February 2016, Haley initiated a radio promotion tour in order to distribute “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to wider radio markets throughout the United States. Her upcoming second studio album, Better, serves as an expansion of an initially conceived EP and will be released in April 2016, following the release of the lead single and title track, “Better.” Haley plans on going on a promotional tour in 2016 following the release of her latest album.

Personal Life:
Haley Reinhart’s parents, Patti Miller-Reinhart and Harry Reinhart, are both musicians and when Haley was about three years old, her parents would hold her up on stage and have her sing the chorus or vocal harmonies for “Brown Eyed Girl.” Haley has also been writing poetry since she was eight years old and has competed in many poetry slam competitions throughout her life.
