Greg Hardy

Bio:
Greg Hardy (born Gregory McKarl Hardy on July 28, 1988 in Millington, Tennessee) is an American football player. After playing college football for the University of Mississippi, he was drafted in the 2010 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers. He is currently a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League.

Personal Life:

In May 2014, Hardy was arrested after allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder. He was accused of strangling and threatening to kill her. He was sentenced to 18 months of probabtion, and requested a jury trial to appeal the decision but didn’t appear in court to testify. The charges were dropped and the prosecutor’s office announced that a civil settlement had been reached. In April 2015, he was suspended for 10 games after an investigation found Hardy had “violated NFL policies in multiple respects and with aggravating circumstances”. In July 2015, the suspension was lowered from 10 to 4 games. In November 2015, Hardy’s domestic violence charges were erased from his record.
