Ed Harris (born Edward Allen Harris in Englewood, NJ on November 28. 1950) is an American actor, producer, director and screenwriter. He has been in a number of notable feature films since the 1980s, including The Right Stuff (1983), Nixon (1995), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Radio (2003) and Gravity (2013). He is a three-time Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor for his roles in Apollo 13 (1995), The Truman Show (1998) and The Hours (2002). He was also nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor for playing Jackson Pollock in his directorial debut, Pollock (2000). Ed won a Golden Globe for his role as Senator John McCain in Game Change in 2012. Most recently, Ed is starring in the HBO sci-fi hit series Westworld. He also is in the upcoming Starz series, The One Percent.
