Dickson Chumba (born in Nandi District, Kenya on October 27, 1986) is a long-distance runner who won the 2015 Chicago Marathon in 2:09:25. In 2014 he won the Tokyo Marathon but he hasn’t always been in first place. In 2013 he placed seventh during the Boston Marathon and during the Amsterdam Marathon he placed eighth. He really got on the map when he won the Rome City Marathon in 2011.

He’s best known as a long-distance runner from Kenya who has broken numerous records and won several marathons.
