Dave Goldberg (born David Bruce Goldberg on Oct. 2, 1967 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) was an American entrepreneur, a top Silicon Valley executive, and the CEO of SurveyMonkey. Graduating from Harvard University in 1989, Dave worked for Capital Records in which he drove the company to double its CD sales and landed their partnership with Starbucks. In 1994, Dave founded LAUNCH Media and led it through its integration into Yahoo!. In 2009 he joined SurveyMonkey, and became the CEO of the online survey company founded in 1999, driving it to major success. Sadly, Dave passed away on May 1, 2015 at the age of 47.
