The Voice coaches aren’t wasting their time playing games with their fans — only one day after season one’s finale aired, NBC announces all four coaches will be returning next season! “Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year, and we are thrilled that they are all returning,” said Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios. “We look forward to building Season 2 and making ‘The Voice’ an even greater experience for fans.”
Vicci Martinez was a bundle of sequined energy last night at The Voice finale and even after she lost, the singer was still on a high from performing with Train’s Pat Monahan. After her amazing performance, her coach Cee Lo Green mentioned how special this song was to Pat and thanked him for sharing it with Vicci. Last week a person who works on The Voice told HollywoodLife.com that the top eight contestants were going on tour this summer. The Hollywood Reporter also has multiple sources confirming this tour. Vicci Martinez, Nakia, Javier Colon, Dia Frampton, Casey Weston, Xenia, Beverly McClellan and Frenchie Davis will be hitting the road (reportedly without the coaches,) but our insider says producers are contemplating adding a few other contestants as well!

The newest take on a singing-competition reaity show, The Voice, takes four successful music artists and makes them coaches responsible for selecting aspiring singers to form their own teams. In order to compete with other reality shoes, NBC pulled out all the stops and selected a high profile panel of coaches, ( John Mayer was considered for the show) including Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera. Yet not all four of the stars are treated equally in terms of salary.
Today was tough on The Voice judges Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera, they had to choose who to save from their respective teams while America’s saves were announced. Christina cried right from the start and said quite a few words about how hard of a decision it was while Blake says he “hate[s] this moment” and was “dreading” the elimination.
