Britany Maack (born 1989) is an American Account Executive who happens to be Taylor Swift’s childhood friend. Brit and Taylor met when growing up in Reading, Pennsylvania. As children, they enjoyed similar interests like riding horses. When Taylor pursued music in Nashville, Britt and she remained close, even as her childhood friend became one of the biggest stars in the world. Britany attended Penn State University, before becoming an account executive at The Loomis Company, an insurance firm that covers everything from aviation to marine and personal insurance.

Britany continues to ride horses. She became engaged to Benjamin LaManna, someone who Taylor has known since she was 4-years-old. They were married on February 20, 2016. Taylor was the maid of honor at Britany’s wedding. Britany maintains a blog where she posts her favorite recipes for healthy living. She is a self-professed fan of kale, quinoa, cheese and wine. She also enjoys professional wrestling. Britany and her husband are avid outdoors enthusiasts who enjoy hiking trails and mountains. Along with her husband, Britany has two dogs and a cat. One of her greatest joys comes from being an aunt to her sister’s children.
