Antonio Sabato Jr. (born February 29, 1972 in Rome, Italy) is an American actor and model. Antonio moved to the U.S. in 1985, when he was just 13 years old. He attended St. Bernard High School in Los Angeles, California, before transferring to Beverly Hills High School. His first major career came as a model, as he gained national attention as a Calvin Klein underwear model. In 1990, he appeared in Janet Jackson’s “Love Will Never Do (Without You)” music video. Ultimately, Antonio moved into acting. He appeared on the soap opera General Hospital from 1992 through 1995. He also appeared on television series Earth 2 and Melrose Place. He also began appearing in TV movies and direct-to-video films, making his feature film debut in 1998’s The Big Hit. From there, he appeared in movies like Tribe, The Chaos Factor, and Ghost Ship. In 2005, he returned to soap operas, playing Dante Damiano on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2008, he reprised his role of Jagger Cates on the second season of General Hospital: Night Shift. His career had a second life with reality television, as he came in 5th place in VH1’s But Can They Sing? competition. He also completed in Celebrity Circus, Celebrity Wife Swap, and his own show, My Antonio. In 2014, he was a contestant on season 19 of Dancing with the Stars. He finished 8th place.

Antonio became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1996. In 2016, he spoke at the Republican National Convention, endorsing the GOP’s candidate, Donald Trump. Antonio dated Alicia Tully Jenses from 1992 to 1993. He has a son, Jack Antonio, from his relationship with Virginia Madsen and a daughter, Mina Bree, with Kristin Rossetti. In 2011, he announced that he and Cheryl Moana Marie had welcomed a son, Antonio Kalani Harvey Sabato III. Antonio and Marie were married in 2012.
