Bio:
Anthony Joshua (born Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua on October 15, 1989 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England ), is a British boxer and Olympic gold medalist. He is a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), appointed in 2013 for services to boxing. Anthony is the current IBF heavyweight champion; before holding that title, he was the British, Commonwealth and WBC International heavyweight champion. As if that weren’t impressive enough, he won the gold medal in the super-heavyweight division at the 2012 Olympics (as an amateur!), and took home silver at the 2011 World Championships. Anthony is only the second British boxer to win a gold medal and a world title (first being James DeGale); he’s the first British heavyweight to do so. As of June 2016, Anthony was ranked the 6th best boxer in the world by The Ring magazine.
