Bio:
Ann Mahoney (born April 24, 1976, in Rochester, New York) is an American actress. Shortly after Ann was born, she and her family moved to New Orleans. She discovered early on that she wanted to be an actress, dedicating herself to the craft at age 9. She attended Greensboro College, getting her BA in Acting before attending the University of Connecticut to get her MFA in acting. Her focus was on Japanese theater, as she studied at Tadashi Suzuki’s Suzuki Method of Actor Training. While at school, she acted at the Long Wharf Theatre in Rosencrantz and Guilderstern Are Dead. After college, she moved to New York City, appearing in the Obie-winning play The Romance of Magno Rubio. However, she returned to her home in New Orleans before losing her home in Hurricane Katrina. She and her family moved to Asheville, North Carolina. Her early career includes appearances in TV movies like Snow Wonder and Pizza My Heart, but her big break came in 2014 when she acted as Beth on the television show, Rectify. In 2015, she landed the role of Olivia in The Walking Dead.

Ann married Danny Kadar in October 2003. They have two children together. She’s a co-founder of Rising Shiners, a theater production company. Her webseries, “Socialwerk,” is based on her experiences of working with World Trace Center victims following the 9/11 attacks.
