Alex Pietrangelo (born Alex Pietrangelo in King, Canada on January 18, 1990) is a professional ice hockey defenceman, who currently plays for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Growing up, hockey was always apart of his life, beginning at an early age competing in the minor hockey leagues.Throughout his career, Alex has competed with Team Canada at the junior and senior levela at the 2009 World Junior Championship, 2010 World Junior Championship, and 2011 Men’s World Championship. He also competed with the Canadian Olympic hockey team in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Russia.
Best Known For:
Alex Pietrangelo is best known for playing on the NHL hockey team, St. Louis Blues. While he competed on the 2010 World Junior Championship and 2011 Men’s World Championships, he was named Best Defenceman. He also won the gold medal for Team Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
