![Heidi Klum and daughter Leni have been unveiled as the new face of lingerie brand, Intimissimi. Model Heidi, 49, looks stunning as she poses with 18-year-old Leni in a series of images to mark the partnership. The pair will appear in TV ads for the company. In these pictures Leni showcases the basic lace collection, while Heidi wears the Pretty Flower series, Intimissimi’s two-tones iconic line. The Italian brand said in a statement: "Intimissimi steps forward with a new campaign starring the stunning Heidi Klum and her eldest daughter Leni as icons of self-confidence, joy of life and love between a mother and daughter. "Together Heidi and Leni show that Intimissimi is a brand for all women. Regardless of age, fit and style. Modeling definitely runs in this family! Heidi Klum and her 16-year-old daughter, Leni, looked absolutely breathtaking on the cover of Vogue Germany‘s January/February issue. The two wore stunning brightly colored, oversized pantsuits and looked so incredibly powerful. Leni wore fuchsia pants with a green top and blue blazer, while her mom, 47, sported blue pants, a fuchsia blazer, and burnt orange top. Both of their hair was styled similarly — straight and down, flowing beyond their shoulders — and the photo was taken against a grey-toned backdrop. Heidi even planted a sweet kiss on her daughter’s cheek for the cover.
Along with the gorgeous photo, Heidi wrote a beautiful, touching letter to her daughter in the caption of her Instagram post about the magazine. Her words, written in German, loosely translated to the following: “I’m so proud of you,” Heidi began. “And not because you chose this path. I know that no matter which way you go, it will be your own. You always know exactly what you want and what you don’t want. You are not a mini-me. And I’m happy for you that you can now show who YOU are.”
Heidi also wrote that she completely understood how “being my daughter is not always easy.” But she praised her brilliant, assured teenager for becoming “a self-confident young woman who fights for her goals. And even more important: you are a really great person with your heart in the right place.”
“I hope that no matter where you are, you always carry what I have given you over the past 16 years,” Heidi’s caption continued. “For the big decisions in life, but also for the very little ones. And even if you often don’t want to hear your mom’s clever advice, here’s another one: never do something you don’t want to do and always listen to your gut instinct.”
Finally, Heidi closed her message by sharing how excited she is to see what Leni does in the chapter that lies ahead of her. It was so clear, simply based on Heidi’s words, that she was so thrilled to see how much Leni had matured and grown into the girl that stood beside her mom and completely owned the cover of Vogue. More than anything, Heidi wanted Leni to know, “I am proud to be your mom!”
It’s not often that fans get a glimpse of Heidi’s children, but her Vogue cover with Leni could mean that the 16-year-old is beginning a career of her own. Heidi has always been so protective of her children, but just like every parent, she too seemed so emotional to see how much her daughter had grown. We cannot wait to see what adventures are in store for Leni as she heads into the future and a bright new year!
