Katy Perry, 36, is no stranger to the Disney Singalong specials, and she just had to be a part of the Disney Holiday Singalong. Katy dazzled with her performances of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Cozy Little Christmas.” Naturally, Katy went all-out wardrobe wise for her performance.
She started her “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” performance dressed as a bare Christmas tree and riding on the top of a car. Suddenly, Katy’s Christmas tree costume was adorned with ornaments and more. She stood in her living room and belted out “Cozy Little Christmas.” This was her first singalong performance since giving birth to Daisy Dove Bloom in Aug. 2020, and she knocked it out of the park!
Katy first performed during the second edition of the Disney Family Singalong. She was dressed in a Dumbo costume and channeled Dumbo’s mom for her performance of “Baby Mine” from the hit 1941 Disney film. At the time, Katy was pregnant with her daughter, Daisy. Katy decided to include her adorable dog, Nugget, in her performance. He was dressed up in a matching elephant costume!
The “Smile” singer was part of The Disney Holiday Singalong along with other A-list artists. Ciara, Adam Lambert, BTS, Michael Bublé, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Chloe x Halle, and more performed during the holiday special. Ryan Seacrest returned to host the music-filled special. The Disney Holiday Singalong will be available the day after it airs via ABC on Demand or Hulu. You can get Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for just $12.99 a month.
Since giving birth to Daisy, Katy has returned to film the upcoming season of American Idol. Katy gushed that fiance Orlando Bloom, 43, has really stepped up since she’s gone back to work. “Daddy’s doing a great job,” she told ET in Oct. 2020. “Daddy has stepped in. I’ve seen the Bjorn on him, I’ve seen him with the bottle, I’ve seen all the pictures. It’s all good.”
