Boston Bombing Trial: Paramedic Describes Gruesome Rescue Of Victim, 6

As the trial of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev continues, more heartbreaking details of the six-year-old girl who was left dismembered in the blast have been revealed. The courageous paramedic who jumped to save little Jane Richard’s life using a stranger’s belt, left the jury stunned on March 9.

Matthew Patterson, a paramedic from Lynn Fire Department in Mass., described the horrific moment he discovered Jane Richard, now 8-years-old, in his testimony against Boston bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 21.

7-Year-Old Boston Bombing Victim Lost Leg, Released From Hospital

Jane Richard’s recovery is bittersweet after the loss of her brother in the same tragedy, but she is making major progress in being able to walk again. Not only is she walking, she’s back to doing what she loves — dancing.

Jane Richard, 7, tragically lost her left leg in the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings that took her 8-year-old brother Martin Richard‘s life. In a happy update to the story, Jane has been released from the hospital and is walking again with the help of a prosthetic leg. Her family has revealed wonderful updates in the girl’s recovery.

Boston Bombing Victim Found Out She Was Pregnant After Rushed To ER

In moments of sheer terror and bloodshed during the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, one couple received life-changing news at the hospital after being severely injured — they were pregnant with their first child, months after trying to conceive. They revealed the good news on Father’s Day weekend.

Caroline Reinsch, 39, and Christian Williams, 41, were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon to cheer on a friend when two bombs exploded, injuring more than 200 innocent people and killing three. Both Caroline and Christian suffered serious leg injuries in the blasts, but news of their pregnancy and new baby replaced their fears and sadness with pure joy.
