Michael Kors is a designer who appreciates and knows how to dress powerful women like First Lady Michelle Obama and songstress Alicia Keys. And he was well aware of that when he marched his models down the runway looking fiercely confident and totally modern.

Michelle Obama has worn a sleeveless, black Michael Kors gown for her first official portrait and then a sequined black Michael Kors sheath on another occasion while Alicia Keys looked stunning singing at the 2013 Inaugural Ball in a dramatic backless Michael Kors red gown.

Now both these admirable women will have plenty to chose from in Michael’s new graphic and glamorous collection.

Michelle Obama, or you, will look perfectly professional and highly stylish in his off- the- shoulder black and white tweed suit with a belted fitted jacket and straight, front zip skirt.

And Michael knows that many of us like First Lady Michelle are working out and would love to show off our shoulders in his sleeveless royal blue sheath with peplum and black piping.

Alicia could show off HER shoulders in a black and silver quilted strapless cocktail dress. And she’d no doubt have fun in his colorful camouflage fur stoles.

Zac Posen will be joining Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Tim Gunn as one of the judges on the upcoming 11th season, taking over for Michael Kors! After working with Kors as a guest judge in seasons three and four, Posen says, “[Kors] was always a generous, warm mentor.”

Michael’s departure from the show was voluntary due to scheduling conflicts, but this definitely won’t be the last we see of him on Project Runway! He’s planning to return to the show for the season finale — and we can’t wait to see him reunite with the old gang!

The designer judge swap won’t be the only change that will be brought to the table for the upcoming season. The contestants are typically used to working on their own, but they will be thrown for a loop when they are told to work in groups!

Zac Posen took to Twitter and said, “So excited to be the new judge on @ProjectRunway Season 11!! Joining @heidiklum @ninagarcia and @TimGunn.” Are all you Project Runway buffs as excited as he is to see him on the show?

Zac Posen’s lines include ’40s inspired looks, mermaid-inspired gowns and super short cocktail dresses. We’re excited to see what kind of influence Posen will have on the aspiring designers this upcoming season. Some of his clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Lucy Liu, Natalie Portman, and Naomi Campbell. Perhaps we will see some of these ladies become guest judges. Tune into MyLifetime on January 24 at 9pm/c to see Zac Posen’s debut.

Gwyneth Platrow recently turned 40, but she has a body that could rival gals half her age — and what better way to show it off than on the red carpet? The star attended Michael Kors‘ Golden Heart Gala in NYC on Oct. 15, wearing a severely sexy dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection, making her the first star to show off a look on the red carpet!

Gwyn shortened the sexy, cutout halter dress, which originally came down the runway as a full-length frock. A black cuff, Michael Kors clutch and white Jimmy Choo pumps finished off the ensemble.

While some probably won’t like the white shoes, given the gold trim and the black heel I enjoy the way she colorblocked with her ensemble.

While attending the premiere of her latest film, Your Sister’s Sister, at the Tribeca Film Festival on Apr. 19, Emily Blunt stepped out in a bright red all-over lacey ensemble — do YOU think this was a flattering choice for the British star?

For the screening event, the 29-year-old chose to accessorize her long-sleeve floral lace Michael Kors frock with a skinny belt, a caramel clutch and a pair of tan sandals, completing the look with a wavy updo.

Although we love the sexy lace trend that several stars have been sporting on the red carpet, perhaps a different color would’ve made this otherwise beautiful look pop on the red carpet — and not remind us of a skin rash!

From fun and flirty cocktail dresses to breath-taking red carpet gowns, Glee gal Lea Michele has been making quite a noticeable impression with her recent outfit choices!

Her latest showstopping get-up? A super short and super hot bright pink Michael Kors racer mini dress worn to a luncheon benefit for the Sabon free Clinic held at  the Beverly Hills Michael Kors Collection Store on Tuesday.

Lea, looking like a modern day Barbie doll, pulled off the vibrant dress effortlessly, completing her look with strappy silver sandals and a nude clutch.

Not that Lea wasn’t  stylish before, but we can’t help but to notice that she’s cranked up her glamor girl status times a trillion as of late.  Is she revenge dressing to get back at her former beau Theo Stockman?  Hmmmm…. We think so!

What better way to show an ex what he’s missing than to show off killer curves and legs for days in a Michael Kors mini?

We think Lea looks totally amazing!  Clearly  she’s headed down the style star track and leaving that ex bf of hers behind!
