What’s with granddads these days? First proud pop Donald Trump lets the news slip about what his daughter Ivanka named her baby girl– Arabella Rose — and now Rod Stewart spills the secret about his brand new granddaughter‘s name!

Rod’s daughter Kimberly Stewart and former flame Benicio Del Toro welcomed a baby girl on August 21 — Kim’s 32nd birthday — making Rod a grandpa for the eighth time. Not to mention the new baby is only six months younger than his son with wife Penny Lancaster, Aiden.

So, ready to find out what the baby’s name is? Drum roll please…

Delilah!

“I’m a grandfather now,” Rod told USA Today, singing out the name Delilah as he talked about his new grandchild. “I’ve been going around blabbing that out for hours now. My joy is indescribable,” he said.

Kimberly is no longer dating Benicio, but they’re both thrilled to be first-time parents!

Rod Stewart‘s socialite daughter Kimberly Stewart gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles on Sunday August 21. The new arrival weighs a very healthy eight pounds and seven ounces!Rod and his wife Penny Lancaster were in the labor ward to help 32-year-old Kimberly through the delivery, along with her mom, Rod’s first wife Alana Collins.

Penny was able to give her stepdaughter some expert advice — she only gave birth to her second child with Rod, son Aiden, in February!

It was the pregnancy shocker of the year when Kimberly announced she was expecting Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro’s baby after a brief fling.

The 44-year-old actor didn’t shirk his responsibilities and quickly confirmed he was the daddy. His rep told reporters, “Benicio is the father and very supportive. Although [he and Kimberly] are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

No word if he was present at the birth — but we’re sure he’s racing to the hospital to see his newborn right now, so he and Kimberly can start picking names!

Rocker Rod meanwhile is coming to terms with becoming a grandad at 66! The father of EIGHT recently confided, “I’m going to be a grandfather, I’ve been waiting for that for so long – that and getting my bus pass – the two things I was looking forward to getting.”

Rod Stewart’s daughter is expecting her first child with actor Benicio del Toro — and no, they are not a couple. This is so weird.

Benicio del Toro‘s rep has confirmed that he and Rod Stewart‘s daughter, Kimberly Stewart are expecting a child together. Whoa, where did this come from?! SO random! 

“Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive,” Benicio’s rep, Robin Baum, tells Life & Style. “Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

Benicio, 44, is best known for winning an Academy Award for his performance in the 2001 film, Traffic. Kimberly, 31, was recently linked to actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans and was previously engaged to Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero in 2005.

Congrats to the soon-to-be first time parents!

This time, it isn’t just his estranged wife Robin Wright Penn who thinks he’s a stooge, either: Sean now has Hollywood behind him!

It’s almost official: Sean Penn is about to tackle the role of middle stooge Larry Fine in the Farrelly brothers big-screen adaptation of The Three Stooges.

The Oscar-winner, 49, had been in talks with Bobby and Peter Farrelly about playing the goofy goon until his marriage to Robin Wright Penn, 43, dissolved over the summer; she filed for divorce in August.

Now that Sean’s personal drama is over and he’s happily ensconced with supermodel Jessica White, 25, his commitment to the flick is back on track.

“We got him back,” director Bobby, 51, told the Boston Herald. “He always said he wanted to do it after, you know, taking care of his family.”

Sideways star Paul “I’m not drinking any ****ing Merlot” Giamatti was set to replace Sean as Larry, but luckily that didn’t pan out for the Farrelly brothers, as they now have their original choice back.

But who’s going to play brothers Moe and Curly Howard? Benicio Del Toro is still interested in the part of Moe, but Curly still needs to be cast: Bobby says that there’s no truth to rumors that Jim Carrey was ready to take on the role (although he’s be kind of perfect, don’t you think?).
