Sean Sasser was a reality TV personality and prominent AIDS activist, first introduced to the public on MTV’s The Real World: San Francisco in 1994. It was revealed on Aug. 8, 2013, that Sean died of mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer. At the time of his death, Sean was working as a pastry chef in Washington, D.C.
