Bio:
Erik Petersen (born in 1978 ) was the founder of the punk band, Mischief Brew. He also sang lead for the band. Erik was originally the lead singer of another group called The Orphans. After the group disbanded in 2000, Erik formed started Mischief Brew as a solo project. Mischief Brew quickly formed into a band after it grew a large following. The band often referenced social movements of the 60s, which Erik took a strong interest in. In 2005, Erik and the group released their debut album, Smash The Windows. Following the success of their first album, the group went on to record three more, which discussed a lot of Erik’s anarchist beliefs. On July 15, 2016, Erik died of unknown causes.
