Alexis Arquette (born Robert Arquette in Los Angeles, California on July 28, 1969) was an American actress, musician and cabaret performer. Alexis was a transgender woman, and her transition was documented in the film Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother, which debuted at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. The majority of Alexis film work was in low-budget and indie pics. She also made several television appearances on shows like Californication and Friends, as well as reality TV shows like VH1’s The Surreal Life and Bravo’s Top Design. She died on Sept. 11, 2016.
