Season three of ‘The Affair’ hasn’t yet begun filming, but the writers have met and began planning out this season — which could just include another perspective. HollywoodLife.com caught up with an EP as well as the cast on what’s to come and their hopes.
For the most part, since the shocking finale of The Affair last year, we haven’t heard anything about season three. Creator Sarah Treem just had a baby, so filming for this one will start a little later than usual — but luckily, executive producer Anya Epstein chatted with HollywoodLife.com to give a little hint of what to expect, after Scotty’s murderer was revealed.
On season two of ‘The Affair,’ Maura Tierney’s Helen is doing anything and everything she can to move on from her husband after he had an affair. However, in real life, Maura’s reaction may to the situation may surprise you.
Even though she’s having pretty steamy sex with a fling from her past, Helen is not happy. So, how does Maura Tierney feel when she’s watching The Affair? HollywoodLife.com caught up with the actress at PaleyFest in New York to hear about how Helen will “find a peaceful place with her ex-husband.” But seeing him happy with another woman probably isn’t the easiest. So, why was she “rootiing for the affair?”
Sorry ladies — for now, Max will have to do! ‘The Affair’ isn’t shy at all when it comes to sex scenes but on the season two premiere it took it to a new level, showing full frontal.
This season of The Affair gives us a look into two new perspectives: Cole’s (Joshua Jackson) and Helen’s (Maura Tierney). So that means we’ll be seeing them moving on from their exes — or at least trying to, emotionally and physically. So, does that mean we’ll be seeing more of their bodies? Well, yes, but don’t get too excited. That full frontal in the premiere isn’t exactly a prelude to anything.
An intriguing set up, a unique point of view, and excellent writing and acting. ‘The Affair’ has all the ingredients to make a successful show, so it’s no surprise it had me on the edge of my seat from the first scene to the last.
The Affair hit the silver screen with a bang — actually, with a lot of banging! The sensual drama takes a dive inside the lives of two couples. Noah (Dominic West) and Helen (Maura Tierney) are parents of four, who head to Montauk to spend the summer at Helen’s parents. There, we meet Alison (Ruth Wilson) and Cole (Joshua Jackson), a married couple with a dark history that’s slowly pulling them apart. And pulling Noah in her direction.
