We were shocked to hear that the two are long-time besties, given that Adam, who just turned 28 Jan. 29, wears more eyeliner in one day than the Twilight actress probably wears in a year.

“I’ve known Adam since I was 18, actually,” the 24-year-old starlet, a new Oscar nominee for her her role as George Clooney’s uptight co-worker in Up in the Air, said on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Feb. 2. She added that things have ever so slightly changed for both she and her pal since they last spoke a year ago.
