Bio:
Loni Love (born in Detroit, Michigan on July 12, 1971) is a comedian, actress, and daytime, television personality. Loni started her career in stand up comedy after she appeared on Star Search in 2004. She finished as runner-up in the talent competition, and went on to appear in a number of comedy specials on television. Her career started to pick up in 2008, after she became the CNN correspondent for D.L. Hughley Breaks the News and covered the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Loni then scored her first one-hour Comedy Central special, America’s Sister in 2010. And in 2013, she penned a self-help book for aspiring comedians entitled, Love Him Or Leave Him But Don’t Get Stuck With The Tab, before signing on to cohost the daytime television show, The Real, where she currently works. In addition to daytime TV, Loni has appeared in feature films including, Mother’s Day, Bad Asses, and Soul Plane.

Personal Life:
Loni Love was an engineer at a Xerox in California before she became famous. She noted that she continued to do stand-up comedy gigs after work in clubs and eventually became a regular at the Hollywood comedy club, Laugh Factory.
