Jeffery Austin (born Jeffery McClelland in 1991 in St. Charles, Illinois) is an American singer. His father sadly passed away when Jeffery was just nine years old, so he grew up with his mother and grandparents, eventually pursuing music in high school. However, he put his dream career on the back-burner when his mom urged him to major in something more “stable” in college, and wound up getting a job at a public relations firm in New York City. Jeffery reignited his musical dream after six years when he auditioned for Season 9 of The Voice, and although Gwen Stefani was the only coach to turn for him in the Blind Auditions, he made it all the way to the finale of the show.
