Blair, Chuck, Serena, Dan and Nate, we all miss you. Gossip Girl ran from 2007 to 2012, and the deliciously soapy drama captivated us from start to finish. On Dec. 17, Gossip Girl ended and our hearts broke at the thought of no longer hearing the words “Who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell.” But at least we can console ourselves with the fact that we now know who Gossip Girl is! It look six long seasons for the finale to roll around, but it was worth the wait, as we saw the marriage of Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester), the return of Little J, and most importantly the unmasking of Gossip Girl. The use of the song ‘You’ve Got The Love’ in the final scene of ‘Gossip Girl’s’ series finale reminded me of the final scene of ‘Sex and the City’ because they used the very same song!
Not only did Gossip Girl feel like a continuation of Sex and the City in the respect that both series told a romantic story in New York City, but the series finale on Dec. 17 paid homage to the more grown-up series that came before it!

Not only was the omnipotent blogger’s identity finally revealed (read on for that spoiler), but the show’s two main couples tied the knot in character-appropriate ceremonies.
