Bio:
Adam Wakefield (born in Plymouth, New Hampshire) is an American singer-songwriter who started playing music at the age of 4. He left his hometown to study music at The New School Jazz and Contemporary Arts Program in New York City, and after college he moved to Baltimore, Maryland to start the regionally successful Soul/Funk band Old Man Brown. In 2013, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his songwriting career and ultimately start making a living in the music business. Since then, he has shared the stage with mainstream artists such as Lee Brice, Keith Anderson, Michelle Wright, and more. He is an accomplished piano player, organist, guitarist, vocalist and writer. He’s studied Jazz, Rock, Blues, Soul, R&B, Funk, Afro-Cuban and as of late Bluegrass music.
Best Known For:
Adam Wakefield is best known for being one of the final four contestants on Season 10 of NBC’s singing competition, The Voice.
Personal Life:
Adam is dating a girl named Jenny Leigh — she is a professional country singer, too.
