Left Handers Day: See Which Stars Are Left-Handed

Lady Gaga, Hugh Jackman, and many more stars are lefties! Check out photos of celebrities who are left-handed.

Even though a small percentage of the population is left-handed, there are still plenty of stars that are left-hand dominant. While there are tons of myths about being left-handed (i.e. it makes you more creative or could cause you to earn less money), many of those beliefs have been dismissed. Nevertheless, there are studies that point out being left-handed could be more beneficial in certain activities, such as sports. Since there are so few people that are left-handed, August 13 is also known as Left-Hander’s Day!

Prince William is one well-known lefty! His dominant hand might be genetic, as his dad Prince Charles is also left-handed. While dominant hands don’t usually interfere with day-to-day life as often as one might think, but William is an avid polo player, and the mallet is only allowed to be held in the right-hand, according to the Olean Times Herald. Therefore, when he used to play the game regularly there was an extra level of difficulty.
