The holiday season is upon us, and celebrities are really going all-out with their decorations this year. With the coronavirus pandemic still looming, Christmas decorations have helped add some light to a dark time. From elaborate winter wonderlands, to massive, towering trees and much more, check out how some stars decked out their houses for the holiday this year:
The holiday season has barely begun, but some celebrities started prepping the minute Halloween ended. Stars like Madonna, Teresa Giudice, Cardi B already have their houses decked out from Christmas from top to bottom. See how they, and other stars have decorated to celebrate Christmas 2020, from elaborate winter wonderlands, to towering trees, and more:
Cardi B
Cardi B gave a full look at her intensely-decorated living room on Christmas Eve. Not only are there multiple Christmas trees, but there’s ornaments and lights on various surfaces, as well as dozens of presents all over the floor. The whole room is completely lit up, and of course, it’s complete with some fake snow. In Cardi’s video, her daughter, Kulture ,even made an appearance as she checked out the decorations and played on her scooter.
Offset, Cardi B & Kulture
Offset and Cardi don’t just have a Christmas tree — they literally have a Christmas forest! The Migos member filmed a different view of the family’s “five piece” Christmas tree set in an Instagram video, and shared three days before Christmas 2020. “Christmas trees going crazy,” Offset said during the video, which showed his frosted trees packed with gorgeous golden lights, ornaments and presents. The trees stood on faux snow, completing the look of a magical winter wonderland right in Offset and Cardi’s home.
Kulture was clearly obsessed with the decor in a later video posted to Cardi’s Instagram account on Dec. 23! “Kulture, I don’t find Kulture — where is she?” Cardi teased to her hiding toddler. “I see you, I found you! Get outta there little girl,” she hilariously added as Kulture jumped up and down behind the elegant tree. The 2-year-old looked so cute and cozy in her white hooded sweater with animal ears, clearly ready for the holidays!
Britney Spears
Britney Spears showed off what looks to be a massive Christmas tree while displaying an impressive yoga move on Instagram on Dec. 18. We love the white lights and all the gifts under the tree — we wonder what she bought boyfriend Sam Asghari and her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Gwen Stefani took to TikTok on Dec. 17 to share a video of herself decorating the mega mansion she shares with Blake Shelton. And to make things even more exciting, she played their Christmas hit in the background while she made their house look more festive for the holidays. Watch the video above!

Who needs Elf On A Shelf when you have Owl On A Salma? Salma Hayek got into the holiday mood with some help from her pet owl (who knew Salma had a pet owl? And that owls are so adorable?) “Kering likes the tree but he likes my head better,” she captioned the Instagram pictures she shared on Dec. 16. In the shot, Kering checks out the tree with Salma, before deciding he’d rather be the star atop of her than the actual tree itself.

Madonna, 62, took to Instagram on Dec. 15 to share a cute video of her and some of her kids putting decorations on their Christmas tree. It’s “about that time again” in Justin Bieber‘s house! The “Baby” singer shared a series of snaps featuring his gorgeous Christmas tree, along with a clip showing him and Hailey Baldwin hanging up decorations. “About that time again,” he captioned the December 12 post. For two of the biggest names in Hollywood, their tree was relatively modest. It was placed in the corner of what appeared to be their living room, and was wrapped in string lights and an assortment of ornaments. Hailey, dressed in black pants and a black and white sweater, placed a large silver star atop the tree which was truly the finishing touch! “Merry Christmas, BIEBER’S,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “DECK THE HALLS HOMIE.”
Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra
Nick and Priyanka have relocated to London as the 38-year-old actress films her new rom-com Text to You in the city. But they still wanted their rental to feel like home for the holidays. They have a gorgeously decorated 20 plus foot Christmas tree in the two-story living room, as it was seen in a photo Priyanka posted to Instagram on Dec. 14. The tall tree was covered in strands of white lights, along with round ornaments in red and other festive colors. The festive tree made the couple get cuddly on the sofa, looking so in love as their pup Diana could be seen on Nick’s lap.
Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky
For a $20 million mega mansion, Avengers star Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky‘s Christmas tree is relatively normal sized. The 44-year-old Spanish born actress shared an Instagram photo on Dec. 9 decorating the dark green pine with gold garland and gold and red ornaments. One of the couple’s six-year-old twin boys was on her shoulders (either Tristan or Sasha as his face was hidden behind his hair), as he reached up to place an ornament on a higher up branch. Since it’s summer in Byron Bay, NSW Australia where the family lives, Elsa and her sun looked dressed for warm weather in shorts and t-shirts, while two pals helped assist with the decorating duties.
Teresa Giudice
Teresa never does anything small. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 48, revealed her 2020 Christmas decorations on Instagram, and her mansion has been transformed into a winter wonderland. There’s even a mannequin with a Christas tree branch and ribbon skirt, and embroidered stockings for all four of her girls! “This years designs are by far my favorite yet! Simple, Sparkling & Spectacular,” she captioned the November 30 post while thanking her florist.
Cardi B
Only the best for Cardi’s daughter, Kulture Cephus. The “WAP” rapper, 28, shared an adorable video of the toddler riding her toy pony around the house, which is already covered in Christmas decorations. In the background of the video above, you can see Cardi’s counters and mantle covered in fake snow, along with a gorgeous, glowing Christmas tree. There’s definitely going to be at least one Birkin bag under the tree.
Tim McGraw
Tim climbed atop a 30 foot ladder to do the decorating work on his family’s Christmas tree at their Nashville home. He put the finishing touches of gold tinsel garlands at the very top of the tree, while perfectly balancing so high off the ground. The 53-year-old country superstar even joked in the caption that wife Faith Hill was trying to kill him with the the daring do it yourself tall tree work on the 20 foot plus spruce. Kelly Ripa
Things are already getting merry and bright in Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘ household. The Live with Kelly and Ryan host and Riverdale star, both 50, put up a gorgeous, towering Christmas tree in their swanky New York City pad. Kelly captioned a December 1 Instagram post showing off the tree, “Even though it’s 2020, she got dressed in her fancy red skirt and ready for the return of a certain someone….” Too good.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi could barely wait for Halloween to be over before putting up her Christmas decorations. The Jersey Shore star, 33, revealed on November 2 that she had been working nonstop to “finally” make her home into Santa’s workshop. She didn’t skimp, either. Her entryway was decked out with a sparkly Christmas tree, and Rudolph and Santa were there to guard the presents she had already wrapped!
Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid is making her newborn daughter’s first Christmas extra special. The model, 25, posted an adorable gallery of photos to Instagram of herself and her little “bestie” enjoying life on her mother’s farm, and revealed that her home in all Christmas-y. There’s a fully loaded tree and red lighting throughout the house. The tree is topped with a star that says, “Santa Stops Here,” and glistening ornaments.
Julianne Hough
Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough, 32, was in the Christmas spirit while prepping for the Disney Holiday Singalong special! Julianne not only decorated her home with chic holiday decorations, but even matched her wrapping paper to the decor. Now that’s some dedication right there.
