Zach LaVine (born Zachary LaVine on March 10, 1995 in Renton, Washington) is a NBA basketball star currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2014, Zach was selected as the 13th pick in the first round of the NBA draft. Before he was professional, Zach played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins for one season before entering the NBA as the top freshmen in the Pac-12 Conference. At the Rising Stars Challenge on February 12, 2016 he scored 30 points for Team USA earning MVP honors for his performance.
Best Known For:
Zach is best known for his slam dunk ability, akin to Michael Jordan. He won the annual Slam Dunk Contest in 2015 and 2016, as well as being named into the NBA Rookie Team of the Year.
Personal Life:
Sport runs in the family for Zach. His father Paul played American Football in the NFL and in the USFL, while his mother CJ was a renowned softball player. Zach has been dating his stunning girlfriend Hunter Mar since his college days.
